DC’s BIGGEST FUMBLES Ever…

DC has had its fair share of ups and downs throughout the decades. Due to the incompetent leadership at Warner Bros. prior to the formation of DC Studios under the co-leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, there have been many rejected or scrapped projects across a multitude of characters that never saw the light of day. The DCEU era is notorious for this, particularly after the early entries under Zack Snyder that began with Superman in Man of Steel. These unrealized projects impacted mediums such as animation, live-action, and gaming. They range from the Batman: Arkham franchise not receiving a continuation through a Batman Beyond–style game, to Wonder Woman never having received a solo title of her own to this day, to the cancellation of an open-world game centered on The Flash and his vast abilities. These are just a few of the countless missed opportunities. The canceled Batman Beyond game was ultimately reworked into what is now known as Gotham Knights, the co-op RPG in which players get to play as Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin. The only times Wonder Woman has been playable in video games have been in Justice League titles or broader DC crossover games like Injustice or various LEGO titles. The new DCU has the opportunity to right past mistakes, giving characters like Green Lantern, The Flash, Batgirl, and Aquaman the proper big-screen treatment they deserve. #batman #wonderwoman #theflash #batgirl #dceu #superman #justiceleague #batmanarkhamknight #gothamknights #jamesgunn #dcu
