Although the video was well-received by most (including a number of practitioners from Cheung’s own lineage), many seemed to miss the mark on the purpose. My issues were on the veracity of Cheung’s claims which have little to no evidence despite the sheer magnitude of his claims. If his claims were true, then we would expect much more evidence to support it, especially in the light of the internet and access we have to information about lineages in Mainland China. My video was not a slight on Cheung’s relationship with Yip Man or Bruce Lee as some attempted to strawman it into.
