Travel to Mažeikiai - remote Samogitian land in Lithuania | Travel guide

Welcome Mažeikiai district, Lithuania, one of the furthest places to go to from Vilnius. It's worth getting there, as the district has plenty of interesting sights to see: the only in Lithuania Gramophone museum, authentic XIX century pharmacy - museum, the home of the pioneer of Lithuanian aviation, the beautiful Renavas manor house and much more! Mažeikiai district really impressed me, even though it was so far to drive to.
