Stop & Waste valve replacement

Step by step instructions for replacing a lawn sprinkler Stop & Waste valve. A stop & waste valve on a lawn sprinkler system enables the sprinkler system to be isolated from the water service line to the house. When the stop & waste valve is turned on it supplies water to the sprinkler system, and when the valve is shut off it drains the supply line water out a port in the valve which helps prevent freezing of the sprinkler system in winter. In this video I replace a faulty stop & waste valve. The valve in this video has froze (stuck) in the open position and can't be turned off requiring that the valve be replaced.
