A Day In The Life of a Certified Irrigation Technician

Walkthrough a day in the life of a Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT). Cooper works with Blue Jay Irrigation, a Professional Irrigation and Outdoor Lighting System company in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Cooper walks us through what a typical day for a Field Technician looks like. Every morning starts with meeting, with field supervisors and other technicians. He then plans out his day, grabs materials, and organizes his service truck. Cooper visits a number of residential irrigation clients. His first visit requires a repair on an irrigation sprinkler head. His second visit is system start-up with a new customer, where he reviews the status of the existing irrigation system. His last call is a mid-season visit, where he completes maintenance on a veggie and herb garden sprinkler system.
