Bethesda accidentally leaked that a new Quake game would be announced at Quakecon, and a month ago, Id Software registered a new, as-yet-unknown shooter with the Australian classification system, codenamed "Project 2021B." In this video, I'll share everything we know about the new Quake and Project 2021B, which could be Wolfenstein III. At the end of June, Id Software registered a new game, likely another shooter, with the Australian classification system, known as "Project 2021B." This Project 2021B could be anything from Wolfenstein III to a remake/remaster of the classic Doom titles, including the possibility of a Quake reboot. However, it seems most likely that it will be an arena shooter belonging to a new franchise from Id Software and Bethesda. Interestingly, some time later, a video game journalist leaked that a Quake reboot was in the works. It would feature a female protagonist (like the Doom Girl Hugo Martin has talked about in his livestreams), would be developed jointly by Id Software and Machine Games, and would feature both story mode and multiplayer. Not so long ago, about four days ago, Bethesda published the Quakecon schedule, and accidentally included a description in the Quake segment that mentioned a revitalized edition of the game, accompanied by additional content developed by Machine Games. Will this "revitalized edition" of Quake be a reboot, a remaster, or a remake?
