Heinkel He-51: The Luftwaffe’s Phoenix

The Heinkel He-51 was one the main aircraft commissioned by the German Luftwaffe, when it was still operating in secret to the world. Used in the Spanish Civil War, the He-51 showed to dominate over older republican planes. However, the adventage was short-lived as modern Soviet fighters arrived, and the german biplane could no longer keep up with them. The german biplane served in multiple versions not only as a fighter, but also as a ground-attack aircraft and seaplane. Even when it was removed from the frontline, it became one the main training aircraft used by the future aces of the Reich. #HeinkelHe51 #aircraft #worldwar2 Thanks for watching!
