Running South Africa - the Legend leads
Day two. North West Province. If day one was about nerves and uncertainty, day two was about flow. We started the run at Mount Amanzi Resort and spent the opening kilometres inside the resort before heading out onto a beautifully balanced, scenic route through the Hartbeespoort area. Hills, water, wide views — everything working together. We were led and seconded by Julian Karp — a true legend of the sport — who has run an aggregate of over 1,000 marathons and ultra-marathons. Julian designed the route, ran the first 22.
