That was crazy hard!

Fixing a house that has been eaten by termites and somewhat neglected for a long time makes things harder than normal repair work. Marc replaced the termite eaten door in our bedroom, but he couldn't just replace the door, the whole frame was destroyed by termite damage so he had to create a new door frame! Thankfully beyond the frame the wood was pretty intact. The whole process took around 8 hours! Marc also put in some lights in our bedroom. He will put the same lights in the living and kitchen area and we are so excited about that because you will see that the old fluorescent lighting is really yellow and murky looking. But the switch was wired weird so he had to fix that. Also I take Anna to her first cello lesson with Yao Zhao. He is the first cellist of the San Diego Symphony and he also teaches at the Beijing Conservatory. he is an excellent teacher! Also we check out the Grove church and it was really an encouraging experience! #largefamilyvlog
