The Pinrang Regency Government continues to solidify preparations for the return of Hajj pilgrims from Pinrang Regency, who are members of Flight Groups (Kloter) 8 and 16 of the Ujung Pandang Embarkation (UPG), a relatively large number of pilgrims this year. This step is being taken to ensure the entire pick-up process is safe, orderly, and comfortable for pilgrims who have just completed their pilgrimage in the Holy Land. These preparations were discussed in a meeting chaired by Pinrang Regency Regional Secretary A. Calo Kerrang in the Pinrang Regency Regional Secretary's meeting room on Wednesday (June 3). In his directive, Regional Secretary A. Calo Kerrang stated that all relevant parties must immediately finalize every aspect of the preparations, considering the pilgrims' return date is fast approaching. According to him, the comfort of the pilgrims must be a top priority, as they have just completed a long journey that is certainly draining on their energy and physical condition. "Hajj pilgrims returning to their homeland certainly require special attention, especially those who fall into the elderly and vulnerable groups. Therefore, all officials must be alert in providing services and assistance," said Regional Secretary A. Calo Kerrang. He further emphasized that the government's presence in the pick-up process is a form of service to the community so that pilgrims can return to their families safely and comfortably after completing the Hajj. Furthermore, Regional Secretary A. Calo Kerrang also hopes that the pick-up process, scheduled to take place at the Al-Munawwir Grand Mosque in Pinrang, will proceed orderly. This is due to the high enthusiasm of families and the community who are expected to crowd the location to welcome the guests of God. He asked all elements involved, from the committee, health workers, security personnel, and other relevant parties, to strengthen coordination so that any potential obstacles can be anticipated early. With thorough preparation, the Pinrang Regency Government hopes that pilgrims will experience the best possible service from their arrival in Indonesia until they reunite with their families. This is also part of the local government's commitment to providing maximum service to the community, especially to Hajj pilgrims who have fulfilled the fifth pillar of Islam.
