TMMD ke 129 Masuk Pinrang, Jalan Tani hingga Rumah Layak Huni Jadi Prioritas

The Pinrang Regency Government's commitment to delivering development that directly addresses the needs of the community has again received support through the 129th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program in 2026, which will be implemented in Pinrang Regency. Pinrang Regent H.A. Irwan Hamid, S.Sos., expressed his gratitude for the designation of Pinrang Regency as one of the locations for the 129th TMMD. He attended the presentation of the TMMD implementation plan by the 1404/Pinrang Military District Command (Kodim) on Monday (June 8). According to Regent Irwan, the TMMD program is crucial for the community, especially amidst the budget constraints currently experienced by many regions as a result of budget efficiency policies. Regent Irwan stated that the TMMD program has proven effective in delivering development whose benefits are directly felt by the community, particularly rural communities in need of infrastructure support and various empowerment programs. "TMMD is a program whose benefits are truly felt by the community. This program demonstrates the synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Regional Government, and various parties in accelerating development that is oriented towards community needs," said Regent Irwan. He hopes that the implementation of the 129th TMMD in 2026 will again have a broad positive impact on the people of Pinrang Regency, especially since this activity involves various regional apparatuses and institutions that will support each program. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Czi. Imam Subekti, Commander of the 1404/Pinrang Military District Command (Kodim), explained several programs to be implemented in the 129th TMMD in 2026. One of the priority physical programs is the construction of farm roads, which is expected to facilitate community mobility and support the distribution of agricultural inputs and farmers' harvests. He continued, adding that the construction of farm roads will reduce transportation costs for agricultural products, thereby increasing productivity and farmer welfare. In addition to physical activities, TMMD will also include various non-physical activities aimed at improving the community's quality of life. These programs include community service, national insight education, drug awareness campaigns, and various educational activities that are expected to strengthen community social resilience. Furthermore, the 129th TMMD program will also address community welfare through the revitalization of uninhabitable houses, supported by the Pinrang Regency Baznas (National Alms Agency), so that those in need can access more suitable and comfortable housing.
