In this video I explore Shangri-La off the beaten path: a hotel owner who simply handed me his own scooter, a lonely stupa where I had the whole place to myself, instant soup with tofu under the clouds, and a beautiful vegan restaurant (Zang Su fan) run by a wonderful family. I also share my honest take on Potatso National Park — China's first national park — and why "perfectly organized" isn't always what a traveler is looking for.
