Have You Always Made Panna Cotta Wrong? Here's the Secret to Making It Perfect Discover how to make a creamy and velvety panna cotta right in your kitchen. Follow the steps to achieve the perfect consistency. ✨ INGREDIENTS: For 6 servings ✅ 500 ml fresh liquid cream ✅ 8 g gelatin sheets ✅ 80 g sugar ✅ 1 vanilla bean or 1 vial of vanilla flavoring ✅ 50 ml milk For the berry sauce: ✅ 150 g berries ✅ 20 g sugar ✅ 1 tablespoon lemon juice 👨🍳 METHOD Fill a bowl with cold water. Submerge the gelatin sheets. Let them soak for about 10 minutes. Pour the cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla essence into a saucepan and stir. Turn the heat to medium-low. Don't let the mixture boil. The goal is to reach a warm temperature that allows the sugar to dissolve completely. Turn off the heat. Squeeze out the gelatin thoroughly. Now add the gelatin when the mixture is hot but not boiling. Mix well. Strain the mixture through a sieve. Pour into molds. Once cooled, transfer the molds to the refrigerator. Let the mixture rest for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight. Place the berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook for 5-6 minutes. Stir, blend, and strain through a sieve. The sauce will be smooth and glossy. Let it cool. Immerse the mold in warm water for 3-4 seconds. Gently run the tip of a knife along the edge. Invert onto a plate.
