In 1981, two young women were brutally murdered in Braunschweig and Vienenburg within a few weeks: 22-year-old Andrea F. in a Braunschweig boutique and Doris M., the same age, who was hitchhiking to a nightclub in Goslar. The murders remained mysterious for a long time – until decades later, the investigation was reopened. Former police chief inspector Holger Kunkel was involved in the investigation.
