Original Böhmische Knödel mit Hefe

Following the recipe for Bohemian dumplings with bread rolls, flour, and baking powder, which originates more from the western part of the Czech Republic, today I'm presenting Bohemian dumplings made with flour, milk, and yeast. These are actually the most famous dumplings in the Czech Republic. A nice pot roast makes this side dish truly delicious. There's also a slight variation with bacon in this video. Everyone should choose what they prefer. You can also prepare the dumplings in a steamer or combi steamer. They need 20-30 minutes of steaming. 👇Here's the recipe for 6-8 servings👇 100 ml milk 20 g fresh yeast 60 g butter 10 g butter (for brushing) 1 tsp sugar 4 g salt 400 g flour 2 eggs 60 g bacon (optional) 2 tbsp dried parsley (optional) My equipment: = Soehnle Page Profi digital scale https://amzn.to/3CQMKqi = Glass bowl: https://amzn.to/3OeNxaj = Cast iron roasting pan with lid - 8.3 cm STEINZEITWERK® https://amzn.to/44nm8sS Affiliate Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I earn a small commission from qualifying purchases, but this does not increase the price for you!
