QUANDO IL PILOTA, IL MECCANICO E IL TEAM MANAGER SONO LA STESSA PERSONA! E quando andiamo nel paddock del Trofeo Easykart, troviamo sempre tante storie da narrare. Siamo PASSati dal Franciacorta Karting Track proprio per raccontare il primo round del campionato, inaugurando la nostra terza stagione di vlog dedicati al dietro le quinte del monomarca più longevo del karting. Lo abbiamo fatto dal punto di vista di Francesco Ruga, un pilota che incarna perfettamente lo spirito con cui è nata la serie creata e promossa da Birelart. Cresciuto in questa realtà, nel 2024 Francesco ha deciso di fondare il suo team Altitude Racing. È così che, dopo aver vinto tre volte il campionato e una volta la Finale Internazionale nella categoria Easykart 125, Francesco continua a gareggiare nella stessa classe con un approccio oggi sempre più raro. Dalla preparazione dei motori alla guida, PASSando per la messa a punto dei telai e la gestione di una squadra che ha già al suo interno anche un altro pilota: l’allenatore di sci alpino classe 1997 assapora appieno tutte le sfaccettature del karting fai da te. Accetta con leggerezza persino quelle più toste e, consapevole di dover imparare dai propri errori in questo nuovo percorso, le prende con filosofia. Ricercare la prestazione è importante, ma divertirsi lo è ancora di più. Perché quando la pura PASSione si unisce alla forza di volontà, ci si può ancora godere il motorsport con semplicità. And when we step into the paddock of the Easykart Trophy, we always find plenty of stories to tell. We PASSed by the ‪@FRANCIACORTAKARTINGTRACK‬ to narrate the first round of the championship, kicking off our third season of vlogs that take you behind the scenes of the longest-running single-brand series in karting. We did it from the perspective of Francesco Ruga, a driver who perfectly embodies the spirit behind the project created and promoted by ‪@birelart7871‬. Having grown up in this world, in 2024 Francesco decided to found his own team: Altitude Racing. This is how, after winning the championship three times and the International Final once in the Easykart 125 category, he continues to compete in the same class with an approach that is becoming increasingly rare today. From engine preparation to driving, PASSing through chassis setup and the management of a team that already includes another driver too: the alpine ski coach born in 1997 fully embraces all the facets of do-it-yourself karting. He accepts even the toughest ones with lightheartedness and, being aware that he needs to learn from his mistakes on this new path, takes them with the ideal mindset. Striving for performance is important, but having fun matters even more. Because when pure PASSion meets willpower, it’s still possible to experience motorsport in its simplest form.
