Taiga Flycatcher in Vancouver!
Canada's first-ever Taiga Flycatcher was noticed on Dec. 25th, 2025. On Jan. 4th, UBC ornithology professor Darren Irwin made this video showing the bird and discussing a bit about bird migration, bird names, bird ecology, and the fun of birding.
