STUCK Starter Drive Repair - Ratcheting Gear Drive Bendix - DIY

I bought this modern starter with a ratcheting gear drive. They have a clutch drive (ratcheting Bendix) that can easily get stuck when moved prior to install. I didn't thoroughly read the instructions so I got mine stuck as soon as I opened the box. Once it's stuck open then it will not fit into the opening so I immediately started looking for the fix. I found a few options but I came up with this method that I feel is safer, faster and less intrusive. This video shows you a simple way to overcome this issue. Starter model number is 8N11001 and is the same starter used in N type ford tractors as well as the V8-60hp Ford flathead engine.
