8N Ford Tractor Starter Hard to Install? Bendix Drive Reset Trick. The method that worked for me
I hope this video will help someone avoid all the trouble I had. My old bendix drive used the clip style retainer and failed. I bought an old starter as a spare years ago and used the good bendix from it. The bendix was locked out, I couldn't install it out or reset it by any of the other spinning methods. This is what worked for me.
