Welcome back to a new episode of the "We from scratch" series! Today we've taken it to the next level... literally! We're finally getting ready to whitewash the walls and paint the rafters, but the road to get there was full of challenges. 🏡🛠️ For the first time since I bought the house, I climbed to a height of 6-7 meters to clean the roof rafters. They were full of dust, spiders and sawdust since the roof was built! 🕷️ In addition, the fine dust from sanding the putty came in handy: we burned not one, but TWO vacuum cleaners! The first due to my ignorance, the second due to a wrong recommendation from the store. But we learn from mistakes! I made a difference and bought a professional branded vacuum cleaner, a real brute that pulls with amazing power and blows air like an airplane! ✈️💨 I got it to work right away and completely dismantled the air conditioner down to the motor. What came out of that split scared me! We also fixed the problems left by the "tradesmen" in the wall, covering everything nicely with foam. To be sure that we no longer have problems with dust, we also changed our tactics: we threw away the thin nylons that were breaking in the current and switched to super thick awning-type foil!
