M-a prins furtuna pe acoperiș! ⛈️ + Schimbare totală în mansardă

Welcome back to a new episode of the "We from scratch" series! Today I had a double mission: up high, on the roof, but also inside, where the attic gets a new life. 🏡🔨 It all started on the house, where I climbed up to dismantle the old aluminum chimney to see exactly what materials I needed to rebuild the perfect roof. My plans were turned upside down by a storm that started out of nowhere, with strong winds and dark clouds, so I had to come down urgently!⛈️ The bad weather didn't stop us! I took advantage of the time and applied the first coat of primer (transparent) on the attic drywall. After the weather cleared up and I bought the materials, I climbed up on the roof again: I stripped everything down to the insulation, replaced the perforated plate with a whole new asbestos cement plate, fixed it and put the tiles back in place. The result? It's as if there was never a chimney there! The work continued downstairs, in the attic. After the primer and two coats of matte white lime, everything looks gorgeous! If you remember what this attic looked like at the beginning – devastated, miserable, poorly divided into two rooms and a hallway – now it's simply a wonder.
