In this episode, you'll see how the main chassis rails are fabricated, including the creation of a distinctive "lobster back" curve for the nose—formed using a wooden template. The session wraps up with notching and fitting the front cross member, setting a solid foundation for the rest of the build. Skills Learned Viewers are introduced to a range of essential metalworking and woodworking techniques. These include precision measuring, cutting, drilling, deburring, and MIG welding. You’ll also learn how to bend metal over a form and read plans and templates effectively. Safety fundamentals are a key focus, making this a beginner-friendly start to the series. Tools Required Tape measure, square, scriber or marker, clamps, angle grinder, drill, hole saw set, metal files or deburring tools, MIG welder, wood saw, and a sander.
