The Lifts@: 16 Collyer Quay (Collyer Quay Centre)

31 Dec 2024 16 Collyer Quay, currently known as Collyer Quay Centre, and Income@Raffles before that, was once CALTEX HOUSE and Hitachi Tower when it was built back in 1992, is a 40* storey office building, consisting of 37 above-ground floors and 3 basements of carpark. Floors 1 and 2 consist of retail facilities, connected with 30 Raffles Place as a mall called Change Alley. Floor 5 is a security/staff floor while floor 35 is a mechanical floor. The lifts were all Hitachi when installed, using rare touch sensitive buttons. All lifts got a heavy refurbishment in 2019 along with the renovation of the interior of the building. It is VERY fortunate that the lifts only got a refurbishment as all other lifts around the area have been modded/replaced (recent ones include Republic Plaza II, 1 Raffles Place & 30 Raffles Place) The carpark lifts have the call buttons and door open buttons relay controlled unlike the rest of the lifts, and the penthouse lift and the cargo lift received the lighter mods, with only the COP being replaced for the cargo lift, and the penthouse lift having its interior indicator retained. All lifts have their lanterns retained.
