How to Start the Year | First Days of School | Choice-Based Art Education

Another question that pops up when art teachers consider a choice-based art education or Teaching for Artistic Behavior is, “how do I start the school year?” In this video, I answer that question and provide ideas for day 1 including, how to differentiate between new and returning learners, how to provide choice with only one center open, and how to make learning routines more fun!
