Walking in Your Truth

Joy in Truth Scripture Focus: 3 John 1 (NLT) True joy is found in walking with God. In 3 John, we read these heartfelt words: "I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth." This is more than happiness—it is the deep satisfaction that comes from living according to God's Word and seeing others do the same. The world offers many temporary sources of joy, but they often fade with changing circumstances. God's truth, however, never changes. When we build our lives upon His promises, we discover a lasting peace and joy that cannot be shaken by disappointment, hardship, or uncertainty. Following the truth means choosing God's way even when it is difficult. It means allowing His Word to shape our decisions, attitudes, and relationships. As we faithfully walk with Christ each day, our lives become a testimony that encourages others to trust Him as well. There is no greater joy than knowing that we belong to Christ and are growing closer to Him. And for parents, grandparents, mentors, and friends, few blessings compare to watching those we love embrace God's truth for themselves. Today, ask God to help you walk faithfully in His truth. Let your life reflect His love so that others may find the same lasting joy that only He can give. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth of Your Word that guides my life. Help me to walk faithfully with You each day and to trust Your wisdom above my own. May my life encourage others to know and follow You. Fill my heart with the lasting joy that comes from living in Your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
