We've added the island of La Graciosa, taking inspiration from the lyrics of a fragment of Javier Rapisarda's song: "We are 8 islands." In this version, we've incorporated images and pictograms to facilitate understanding and encourage participation from all students, especially those who benefit from visual aids. Through this song, we work on language, attention, and interaction, inviting children to follow the rhythm, point, anticipate, and enjoy the music in an accessible and inclusive way. We also use this activity to share content related to Canarian culture and geography, bringing our islands into the classroom in a meaningful way.
