The day began with the most surreal scenery we'd ever seen: the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat. We savored every second—the sculptures, the labyrinth, the stairway to the sky, and the museum made entirely of salt. Everything seemed perfect... until the van's brakes failed. 😬 The brake pads we brought from Brazil didn't fit, Fiat doesn't exist in Bolivia, and suddenly we were in the middle of nowhere, unsure if we'd be able to continue our journey. Once again, the road was testing us—between wonder and hardship, between freedom and fear.
