「お父さんの手作り弁当」から始まった5坪の小さな満席店!ワンオペ女将の忙しい一日に密着
This time, we had the opportunity to shoot at Koryoriya Minori, a cozy little restaurant hidden away in Hiroshima Prefecture. The place is actually a renovated traditional house that's over 100 years old, serving up onigiri, small seasonal dishes, and bento meals. Even though it's hidden in a back alley, it's become quite popular through word of mouth. On the day we visited, every seat was booked in advance—it's a reservation-only spot. The chef-owner, who grew up in a single-father household, was raised on her dad's homemade bentos and her grandmother's cooking. You can really feel that warm, nostalgic touch in every dish she prepares—each one is crafted with care and kindness. The food, made with plenty of local ingredients and seasonings, not only looks beautiful but tastes incredible too. We heard guests all around us commenting on how delicious and visually stunning everything was. It's always such a joy to find places in tourist areas that truly embrace local produce like this. This is one of those spots that makes you want to come back to Onomichi again and again. Please note: The restaurant is reservation-only in order to reduce food waste, so be sure to book ahead—walk-ins aren't accepted.
