THE PRIORY: SANTON DOWNHAM CHURCH NORFOLK

QUEST 4: SANTON DOWNHAM CHURCH NORFOLK: For quest number four we once again ventured into the beautiful Norfolk countryside, to a small church which holds many mysteries. There have been many tales told and investigations into the happenings here at Santon Downham Church and even without the ‘ghostly goings on’ this church and area have had a very fascinating history which we wanted to either prove or disprove. The connections here to the Knights Templars and Freemasons is very strong in all the Church symbology and one wonders why; what is the connection to such a small church. Then there is the drunk, debauched priest, who it is said still roams the church and will communicate and who was declothed but then amazingly clothed again - why? So whether the hauntings are true or not, the fact still remains that the energy is truly amazing here and the history of the church is not at all what it appears to be.....
