QUEST 35: HOMEWARD BOUND: DAY SEVEN

CHURCH OF ST DECUMAN: WATCHET: A beautiful church in a lovely setting, the windows are particularily interesting telling a fascinating story of and from the angels, together with many other tales told. The old tiles on the floor near the altar are of certain interest, and could be easliy missed. The chancel was built in 1263 AD. It is said that a 'Watcher' once revealed himself at this place. The bloodline connection here is of Sir Thomas Woodchurch 1263 AD of Woodchurch, Essex.
