The Miaoli Tai'an Jingguang Hot Spring Resort, a century-old establishment known as "Tai'an's No. 1 Hot Spring," has attracted many tourists. However, this afternoon, a 73-year-old man drowned. Preliminary investigations by the NS police indicate that the elderly man, surnamed Li, went to the resort's public pool with his family today. For unknown reasons, he drowned. Bystanders immediately rescued him and rushed him to the hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. While possible causes of death include underlying health conditions, the exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy conducted by the prosecutor tomorrow.
