Confidence in God | Jesus Calms The Storm

We can have confidence in God's plan because He's always been there for us. Join Douglas in this Christian video as he explains confidence in God for kids! Sometimes it can be easy to doubt God, especially when life gets difficult. Douglas was sure that God wanted him to go give some of his lunch to a new kid at school who didn't seem to have anything to eat. Douglas thought that this new kid would be happy, but instead he yelled at him and told him he didn't need any help! That really shook Douglas confidence, not only in himself but also in what he thought God wanted him to do. But later, the new kid apologized, thanked Douglas for offering some of his lunch, and then asked if Douglas wanted to be his friend. God's plan worked out after all! There are many times in the Bible where people doubted God, including a great example from the New Testament. Jesus told his Disciples that he wanted to go to the other side of a large body of water, and then he went in the boat and slept. The wind and the waves picked up and the disciples thought that their boat was going to sink! They woke Jesus up and and said, "don't you care if we drown?!" But Jesus got up and told the sea to be still, and it obeyed. Jesus asked them, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"  When God wants you to do something, you can be confident that He will see his plans fulfilled. God has always been there for his people, and He always will be.
