Is accumulating and growing money greed? Or is it the responsibility of a steward to properly manage the finances entrusted by God? The Bible does not say that money itself is evil. However, it strictly warns against an attitude of loving money, hoping for luck, and exploiting others. In this 10th lecture of the Biblical Finance School, we examine the investment principles that a good steward must hold fast to in order to wisely manage and multiply the finances entrusted by God. We will share topics ranging from the value of earned income to the principles of seed money and compound interest, corporate investment through stocks and bonds, diversified and long-term investment, and the biblical standards to observe so that investment does not degenerate into greed and speculation. The purpose of investment is not simply to possess more.
