- Deosai National Park - 2nd highest plateau on earth 🇵🇰

Join me on a day trip from Skardu to Deosai national park. The second highest plateau in the world after the Tibetan plateau. At an elevation of 4,114 m (13,497 ft) it was a great place to acclimatize before my K2 trek. On the drive up to the plateau I stop at Sadpara lake which was formed by the creation of a hydro electric dam. I have an encounter with a friendly and hungry Marmot, eat some biryani and enjoy tea with the locals.
