Fire on the altar

The fire on the altar was never meant to be a one-time moment; it was a daily surrender. God desires a heart that stays lit with faith, obedience, and love for Him. When we place our lives before Him, He takes what is ordinary and makes it holy. The altar is where we lay down pride, fear, sin, and distractions — and where God restores, refines, and renews us through His mercy. His fire doesn’t come to destroy us; it comes to purify us and draw us closer to Him. “The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out.” — Leviticus 6:13 (ESV) Lord, keep the fire of Your Spirit alive in us. Let our hearts remain surrendered, our worship remain genuine, and our lives become an offering that brings glory to Jesus. Amen. 🕊️💜
