At the Parish of Our Lady of the Angels and Saint Sebastian Martyr, a veneration of the image of Our Father Jesus of the Arrest (Very Humble and Franciscan Brotherhood of Penitence of Our Father Jesus of the Arrest and Our Lady of the Forsaken) took place on the occasion of the 14th Anniversary of its Blessing. The Lord of "El Palmar" is the work of the Cordoban sculptor and religious image maker Sebastián Montes Carpio. The blessing took place on June 30, 2012, in the Parish of Our Lady of the Angels. The Capuchin Friars, the Franciscan Brotherhoods of Humility and Patience and the Captive, the Brotherhood of the Resurrected, and the Brotherhood of the Arrest of Jerez de la Frontera served as godmothers for the ceremony. The Brotherhood of the Little Donkey and the Parish Group of the Angels acted as witnesses. Father Juan Aguilera de la Torre presided over the blessing.
