And you can only stay there, in the past, until your coffee gets cool. Like I said, it's an urban legend. According to a novelist named Toshikazu Kawaguchi, this cafe is in one of Tokyo's narrow back alleys. Moreover, the author has set some rules for time travel with coffee in his novel. Rule 1: No matter what you did in the past, you cannot change the present. Rule 2: When you return to the past, you cannot leave the cafe. Rule 3: You can only stay in the past until your coffee gets cold. One day, one of the customers who come to that cafe wants to travel back in time to a full week ago. Remember, she can only do this by sitting on a certain chair in the cafe. However, this woman who comes to the cafe has to wait until the evening hours because she will not force her to get up when there is another person there. And when the chair is finally empty, she immediately orders a coffee. Time stands still as coffee is served with a ritual. The vapour rising from the cup goes up all the way to the ceiling. The woman closes her eyes. The drops flowing from the ceiling begin to flow backwards in time. So what is the secret of this coffee? What kind of drink is this that is enough to open even the most secret doors of a person's brain and imagination. When you drink this, yes, although you may not be able to physically go to the past, you release yourself into the river of memories.
