Schrammel.Klang.Festival 2026 - Matinee im Herrenseetheater Litschau

Little Rosies Kindergarten Together with the actress and speaker Sarah Jung, the 13-member band collective Little Rosies Kindergarten interprets poems from Christine Nöstlinger's dialect book "Iba die gaunz oamen Leit", which combines texts from her volumes published in the 70s and 80s. Nöstlinger portrays her characters with unflinching directness, focusing on those who are often overlooked. She writes about abysses, violence, and misery, yet despite poverty, dependence, and exclusion, she imbues her characters with an impressive strength. Her texts are deeply moving and, alongside all the tragedy, also leave room for dark Viennese humor. With this program, the ensemble brings Nöstlinger's work into the musical realm: Inspired by her texts, they create soundscapes that make their emotional power audible. The starting point for every musical decision remains the word.
