Last service at the Baha'i House of Worship before the Dayspring of Light Construction

As the Dayspring of Light project begins, the community gathered for the final devotional service inside the Sydney Baha'i House of Worship before restoration and renewal works commence. Over the coming months, the grounds will remain open and services will continue in an alternative spot on the grounds. During this period, the House of Worship and its surrounds will undergo significant revitalisation, including new gardens, water features, and improvements designed to enhance the experience of prayer, reflection, and community life for generations to come. In this video, community members share their reflections on the significance of the House of Worship, the bittersweet emotions of this moment, and their hopes for the future of this beloved sacred space. The House of Worship may temporarily close its doors, but the spirit of worship and service it inspires will continue to grow throughout the community.
