Caroline Myss – Your power is not in the physical world

These are the important points for you to remember for the rest of your life: you function on three levels of consciousness. Don’t ever forget that. You live in the physical world, you operate from the interior world, and you need to access your symbolic world. Your symbolic world is where the power is. The power is not in the physical world. This world we share is the caboose on your train. This is fundamental medical intuitive knowledge, but it is also fundamental knowledge, period. You are always going to slip here. You are going to slip and fall here, twenty-four seven. That is why all great spiritual masters have emphasized again and again: you must pray. This universe is two things: it is impersonal and it is intimate. It is irrelevant that you cannot figure that out. There is no such thing as an insignificant choice. Every choice we make carries power, consequence, and direction, even when we cannot see the whole pattern of why things unfold as they do. In this rich class, I invite you into deeper questions about your spiritual and intuitive life: how receptive you are to inner guidance, how open you are to healing, and where you may be losing power without realizing it. For anyone called to healing or intuitive work, the first requirement is learning to read your own energy. You cannot read another person clearly if you do not understand yourself, your own energetic anatomy, and the ways you give your power away. Discernment begins with self-knowledge, and self-knowledge requires anchors — those inner truths that cannot be pulled up or negotiated away.
