On horseback as you pass by ancient forts made of mud bricks, you wonder about the lives of people who once came out of the Great Sahara Desert with camels laden with treasures to sell in the Qasbah (Kasbah). Inside these fortified citadels, lies a laborite of streets that once housed the military garrison, mosque, hammam, and a palace.
