Spring has arrived before I knew it. After finishing my solo exhibition in Korea and returning to Japan, I found the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Now I’m preparing for my next event—organizing inventory and working on new pieces at the same time. The days are busy, but I try to pause, even just for a moment, to stand in front of the blossoms or to slowly brew and enjoy a cup of tea. It’s easy to put these small moments aside, but we value taking time to stop thinking and simply be present, enjoying a quiet cup of tea in the here and now.
