Data Vault 2.0 – A Method of Business Intelligence

Data Vault 2.0 is a system of Business Intelligence developed by Dan Linstedt that is composed of three pillars: architecture, modelling and methodology. This session will provide a high-level overview of Data Vault 2.0 as a system of BI, with a particular focus on the Data Vault model itself and the benefits it can provide. SPEAKER BIO - Ashley Day - Operations Analyst, Baker Tilly Digital Ashley Day is an Operations Analyst at Baker Tilly who has spent the last 7 years working in the realm of Business Intelligence. She has worked with both on-prem and cloud-based solutions and has a particular interest in data engineering. She spent the last few years working as a consultant in client facing roles, but recently transitioned to an internal role to promote BI initiatives and best practices within the firm she works for. She has a passion for learning and sharing that knowledge with others. Ashley recently received her Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner certification after attending a four-day seminar on the topic.
