Gobi said “Made Niggaz” was initially intended to be a short film, rather than simply a performance video. According to him: The story involved “Buffy and Piggy” arriving in Los Angeles to take control of the cocaine trade. Tupac and the Outlawz would organise themselves to stop them. Three of the planned four filming days were completed. Production stopped after a fight involving an Outlawz member and a stunt performer. Three different edits were created, including an extremely violent version in which Piggy and Buffy were shot at and several police officers were killed. Tupac supplied the central idea, while Gobi developed it into the formal concept. Gobi separately described the famous 360-degree table sequence. Tupac and the Outlawz were supposed to be strategising against the Piggy-and-Buffy drug operation, with Tupac and the Outlawz themselves rotating and operating the camera during the single take. The commonly released “Made Niggaz” video therefore represents only part of a considerably larger storyline that was never completed.
