This video implements server-side JSON parsing for incoming HTTP request bodies. The XGSampleServer reads the JSON payload from each client request, extracts the authentication fields, and converts them into server-side data structures for processing. The implementation covers reading the HTTP request body from the socket buffer, parsing the JSON string with TJsonReader and FJsonSerializer::Deserialize, extracting typed fields using TryGetStringField and TryGetNumberField, validating that all required fields are present, and returning structured error responses for malformed requests. We also handle edge cases like empty bodies, encoding mismatches, and excessively large payloads. After this lesson, the server can decode any properly formatted client request into actionable data.
