Largest Night Market in North America & Vancouver's Eat Street @ The Shellfish Shack | Richmond

It's been a little while since being able to go around and enjoy the summer in Vancouver. I had a little break and took to opportunity to visit places in Vancouver. Today, I got a chance to meet up with some friend to tour the city; in particular, we visited places in Richmond. Richmond, part of the Metro Vancouver area, has one of the largest Asian populations in the area. You'll notice almost all shops and signs have Asian characters, along with English. What's also unique about this area is it has one of the highest density of restaurants in the area. This specific area is known to the locals as "Eat Street". Whether you're a local resident or a tourist, you can't go wrong finding a good meal around here. During the summer time, Richmond is the host of a Night Market! As far as night market goes, it has its share of typical wares for sale; from the useful to the not-so-useful items. But what's unique about the market is the countless food stalls and vendors offering their delicious treats. From a late night dim sum, to those spirally potatoes, there's something for everyone. Be warned, it might not be cheap and there's a bit of a wait, but you'll sure to find something that satisfies your culinary curiosities; for better or for worse. Actually, the night market was the start of some great eateries around town.
