TP Paléontologie L2 - Les Echinodermes (par Mme Ruault-Djerrab)
This video is intended for students in the common core of Geology, or any other interested public (high school students for example). It explains in a very simple way how to identify the fossils belonging to the Echinoderms Phylum (Invertebrate type animals). Two types of Echinoderms are shown, first Crinoids and then Echinoids (also called Echinids or ‘sea urchins’ in colloquial language). Labeled diagrams are commented, as well as several examples of significant specimens. The audio commentary is complemented by written comments that provide more details. This video was put online as part of the 2nd year Paleontology practical work of the STU License at the University of Guelma in Algeria (Teacher: Ms. Ruault-Djerrab). Video highlights: 0:07: Introduction. 1:30: The Crinoids. 5:22: Regular Echinoids. 11:29: Irregular Echinoids. For more details on sedimentary geology, consult the site: http://djerrab-geologie-guelma.e-mons... (you will find courses to download, exercises...)
