Glasgow To Belfast By Hannon Coach And Stena Line Ferry

I’d seen a few YouTube videos of people using Hannon’s coach service between Glasgow and Belfast so when I’d planned to go to Belfast there was only one way to get there. Hannon’s coach leaves from Buchanan Bus Station at 08:30 and arrives into Belfast’s fabulous Grand Central Station at 14:30. To and a half hours of the journey is onboard a Stena ferry. In my case it was the Superfast VIII, way bigger than the Calmac ferries I’m used to. Once you disembark in Belfast it’s just a short 15 minute trip into the city centre. Taking a flight might, in theory, be quicker but who wants all that hassle of hanging around at an airport for hours before you take off.
