‘STARMER’S DONE, IT’S OVER!’ Farage predicts PM will be forced out as Reform targets by-election

Nigel Farage has declared that Keir Starmer’s premiership is “done” as Reform UK steps up its campaign ahead of the Makerfield by-election. Appearing alongside Reform candidate Robert Kenyon, Farage claimed the Prime Minister would not survive the mounting pressure inside Labour and predicted that economic turmoil could force a UK general election in 2027. During the wide-ranging Reform UK press conference, Farage also launched an attack on Andy Burnham, questioned what the Labour figure stands for and claimed his political honeymoon would be extremely short if he reached Downing Street. He argued that Labour MPs fear losing their seats following Reform’s recent local election gains and urged Makerfield voters to back Robert Kenyon. Farage was also questioned about immigration, the Belfast disorder, Restore UK, Elon Musk, Pride events and concerns surrounding women voters. He repeated Reform UK’s position on illegal immigration, described immigration as a national security issue and warned that public anger could continue to grow unless the Government takes action on border control, policing and safety. The Reform leader also called for sweeping changes to Britain’s electoral system, including tougher restrictions on postal voting. Farage claimed voting practices in the Gorton and Denton by-election exposed serious concerns about electoral integrity and argued that postal and proxy votes should only be available to people with a clear reason.
