Our Christmas in a Remote Valley in French Polynesia
Every December, while the world is busy, loud and crowded, we celebrate Christmas in a different way. There are no shops or fancy restaurants in our valley, so we prepare a traditional Marquesan underground oven, umukai, using fresh food from the valley and our garden. This work takes the whole day, but it’s special, and we love it. This is how we celebrate Christmas, far from everything, in a place most people will never see. If you’re tired of cities, noise, and routine, this is for you. Subscribe to follow our life in one of the most remote valleys on Earth.
